What is NourishMe?

NourishMe is a free, browser-based vegetarian meal planner. You tell us what ingredients are sitting in your fridge or pantry, and we instantly suggest three real vegetarian recipes that use those ingredients โ€” along with your personalised daily macro targets and a ready-to-use grocery list for anything else you need.

There is nothing to install, no account required, and no cost. NourishMe runs entirely in your web browser and fetches live recipes from TheMealDB, a free community recipe database.

Who built NourishMe?

NourishMe was created as a personal project by someone passionate about making healthy, affordable vegetarian eating simpler and more accessible. The goal was simple: stop wasting food and stop staring at a full fridge wondering what to cook.

A note on macro estimates

The macro figures shown on NourishMe (calories, protein, carbs, and fat) are estimates. Daily calorie targets are calculated using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, which is widely used by registered dietitians. Per-meal macro values are category-level approximations based on the type of dish. They are intended as helpful guidance, not clinical nutritional data.
